1. What is the ordering process?
You can either order online with Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express or your Paypal account though the secure server; or phone in an order with credit card information. If ordering by phone, please consider filling out the Phone Order form before calling 847-516-2211 so that we can confirm the personalization information with you.
2. How do I send you the personalized information you need to complete my order?
ONLINE ORDERS: When placing your order, please provide the personalization information when adding your item(s) to the shopping cart.
PHONE ORDERS: Please use the forms online to submit your personalization information first and then call with payment information. We will double check the details of your order while you are on the phone. If you would like to provide personalization information over the phone, we will send you a follow-up email so you can confirm all spellings and other special requests.
Please double check the spelling of all names, as well as the use of upper and lower case letters. We cannot be responsible for misspelled names or other details provided incorrectly. There will be an additional fee for correcting any information that provided to us incorrectly.

It is the policy of Legacy Embroidery to treat all family information as confidential and therefore such information will not be shared with third parties.
3. How soon can I expect my order to arrive?
After we receive the personalizing information from you, we can start on your order. For baby blankets, the orders will be shipped within three business days. For personalized shirts, special orders, and Family Tree Wall Hangings, most orders will be shipped within 7 days. Custom quilts or other larger jobs may take longer. We will do our best to provide you with an expected shipping date. If we are unable to complete your order within these time frames, we will let you know as soon as possible.
Legacy orders are shipped by United States Post Office Priority Mail (2-3 days). You will be notified via email when your order has been shipped. If you are mailing as a gift to a different address, you will receive the invoice separately either by mail or email.
4. It's December, when do I need to place an order for Christmas delivery?
Please place orders by December 15th for Priority Mail delivery and by December 19th with Express Mail. Please call or email with questions if you are concerned about delivery timelines. We work hard to make sure you have your special item when you need it!
5. When do I need to pay for my order?
You can order online with a credit card or your paypal account through a secure server. If you are ordering by fax, mail or phone, you should include payment by check or money order or call with credit card information. Once Legacy Embroidery receives payment and all personalization information, we will start work on your customized product.

6. Can I send my order directly to the gift recipient?
Sure. When completing the online order, please indicate to whom the item will be shipped. Please indicate any special messages to be sent along with a gift card for direct gift shipments. It's as easy as that!
7. Can I update the embroidered sweatshirts or afghans when we get new members in the family?
You certainly can! When you are ready to add more names to your sweatshirts or an afghan, give us a call or send an email. It's a simple procedure.
8. Besides the product cost, what other charges might I expect?
When ordering either on-line, by fax, mail or phone, additional charges will be incurred for shipping and, if you live in Illinois, sales tax.
If you live in Illinois, there will be a sales tax charge of 7%.
